Position: Home Builder Administrator - Truckee, CA
Area home building company is actively pursuing an experienced candidate for the position of Home Building Administrator to be based in Truckee, CA. The company is currently in production of luxury Mountain Lodges ranging from 2,400 sqft to over 3,000 sqft, priced from $1.4 million to just over $1.8 million. With close to 100 more units to be built this is a tremendous multi-year career opportunity. In addition to the Mountain Lodges, the company also builds larger, single-family custom homes on-site.
Position includes, competitive salary and benefits, including enrollment in a company health insurance plan and life insurance plan.
Primary responsibilities of this position include:
Evaluating vendor contracts and bids
Assisting in upgrade and selection pricing
Building and maintaining all in-house files
Reviewing of invoices and the preparation of the monthly draw
Assisting the construction team with completion of all trade contractor and supplier agreements as negotiations are completed
Preparation and disbursement of Accounts Payable check requests/monthly bank draw reports
Assisting the construction team with building permit preparations and submittals
Assist in the coordination of the construction schedule, including the distribution of the schedule and changes

Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
At least two years general office administration experience
Proficiency with MS Office suit, with extreme familiarity of MS Excel.
Ability to relate to all types of people and levels in and outside the organization, employing social perceptiveness, active listening skills and adjusting actions and style of communication when appropriate to ensure effectiveness
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks, monitoring use of time and appropriately using equipment, facilities and materials; ability to provide timely and quality responses
Ability to make decisions without supervision
Requires coordinating or working with others in accomplishing work activities
Requires work with construction contractors, building inspectors, vendors and design consultants
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
High School Diploma required, College Degree Preferred
Quick learner, detail oriented and self-motivated

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
