Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring our guests have the correct access product to safely and legally enjoy our mountains while delivering exceptional customer service. Actively works toward positive resolution for all issues. Provide information and direction in an efficient and courteous manner. This job provides the opportunity to work outdoors in a scenic environment, while greeting our guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
1. Greet guests and welcome them to our resort
2. Provide customers with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
3. Protect the company and our guests against potential fraudulent pass and ticket issues.
4. Work with multiple departments to create a welcoming and safe environment for our guests.
5. Provide accurate information and direction to all of our guests
6. Monitor SkiData gates by using technology such as handhelds and tablets.
7. Research, troubleshoot, and assist guests with potential lift access issues and resolve any problems which could prevent our guests from having an outstanding day
Competencies and Job Requirements:
1. Effective communication skills, oral, & written.
2. Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness.
3. Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
4. Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards.
5. Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time.
6. Work well as part of a team.
7. Able to work well in a high volume, hectic environment, while maintaining composure when dealing with irate customers, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and courtesy.
8. Must be able to demonstrate initiative on finding the answers to questions where one does not know the answer.
9. Basic computer skills, fast, and accurate typing skills.
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Six months experience in customer service
1. Knowledge of Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 100% of a normal 8 hour work shift in winter weather conditions. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Must be able to shovel snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to extreme inclement weather conditions. Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
